And Yet

The stories of life are but shadows of Love.

And yet the words on which we build our lives are revealed in those stories.

“No” is one of the first messages a baby hears and learns.

And yet “I love you” is the last message we all long to share before we die.

Untold amount of resources are invested pursuing the cure for aging and for death.

And yet loneliness is one ailment that needs very little to cure.

“Til death do us part” are words of commitment with the same meaning whether spoken at a $1000 celebration or a $100,000 gala.

And yet when “us do part”–either because of betrayal, divorce or death–the price is unfathomable.
