It’s Just Another Mountain

From atop the mountain, You watch.

You see the crevices; You see the cliffs.  You know the jagged edges.

Deep in the valley, I wander.  I can’t see the path up.  I can’t see the way out.

Your hand reaches down and guides the way. 

Listening for my pleas of help, You wait.

You lift me across the crevices.  You shield me from the cliffs.  You protect me from the jagged edges. 

There’s nothing You haven’t seen before.  It’s Just another mountain. 

You wait to meet with me, to give me Your Word, atop the mountain.
