The Gift is, indeed, something to behold. The promises of the Gift are irresistible to most and unbelievable by many. How is it possible that this, of all things, could be a Gift that is so improbable and miraculous?
With this Gift there is the promise of a sustained life of riches and a renewed life of hope. With this Gift there is the promise of an absence of insecurities and an absence of aloneness. How is it possible that this, of all things, could be a gift that is deliberately ignored and desperately misunderstood?
With this Gift there also comes the Giver. The Giver, who indeed, can behold? His power is unfathomable, His mercy is unending–impossible to resist! His holiness, who indeed, can face? Terribly fearsome and awesome are the Gift and the Giver. Deliberately ignored and desperately misunderstood. Humbly accepted and delightfully enjoyed.
