A Person of Faith

I long to be a person of faith,
a faith that compels,
a faith that does not force.

I long to be a person of faith,
a faith that beckons,
a faith that does not burden.

I long to be a person of faith,
a faith that multiplies,
a faith that does not divide.

I long to be a person of faith,
a faith that glorifies,
a faith that does not hide.

I long to be a person of faith,
a faith that is healing,
a faith that does not cripple.

I long to be a person of faith,
a faith that inspires hope,
a faith that does not bring despair.

I long to be a person of faith,
a faith born of Love,
a faith that does not empower oppression.

I long to be a person of faith,
a faith that seeks Truth,
a faith that is not mystical morality.
