Drama and Harmony

When the view is black and white,
there is strong delineation.
Where one thing ends, the other begins.

When the picture is black and white,
shades of gray give the variation.
Texture and context is more subtle.

When life is seen in black and white,
drama is the statement.
Juxtaposed in contrast makes the message.

When the view is in living color,
there is an orchestra.
One note thrives in the midst of many.

When the picture is in living color,
there is diversity.
Movement and tempo drive the story.

When the picture is in living color,
the statement is harmony.
From note to note, together they tell the story.

In black and white, life would seem more easy.
Life would seem more simple.

In living color, life is complex and messy.
Life is lived outside the lines.
