His Words

In deed, I have heard that I need to be quiet.
His words say that I need to write.

In deed, I have heard that I am weird.
His words say that I am passionate.

In deed, I have heard that I am selfish.
His words say that I am giving and loving.

In deed, I have heard that I am a cripple and a responsibility.
His words say that I could change the world.

In deed, I have heard that I shouldn’t because they fear I couldn’t.
His words say stop being afraid and do what I was called to do.

His words open my heart with love, acceptance and value.
His passionate belief in me is faithful and true.

It is no wonder then that it is ever so natural and easy to love him for his words.
Indeed, his words mean more to me than anything said in deed.
